Multi-mode fiber optic cabling is mostly used for communication over short distance, and single mode fiber optic cable is commonly used for high speed, long distance applications. Outside plant cabling refers to all aspects of cabling and supporting infrastructure that is located between a D-marc in one location and a d-marc point in another location. Supporting infrastructure includes cabinets, conduits and the tower or poles.

Casa Technology Systems, has the necessary staff to design, build and maintain outside plant copper backbone systems to support just about any network. We are based in Phoenix, Arizona and provide services throughout Arizona and New Mexico.

Outside plant troubleshooting, testing and repairs are completed by one of our certified technicians under the direction of one of our BICSI RCDD's, all of whom encompass a vast knowledge of outside plant design and installation principles. We are able to correctly connect wiring systems between two or more buildings on a site, while complying with the National Electric Code as well as all local building codes.

1. Troubleshooting and Repair

Our certified fiber optic technicians will locate your problems quickly using the latest in fiber optic testing technology by Fluke Networks. Once we have identified the problem, Casa Technology Systems can provide you with comprehensive corrective solutions from fusion splicing to replacement of ST, SC, and LC type connectors. We will work diligently and quickly to restore your services.

2. Testing and Maintenance

Over time and without proper maintenance, fiber patch panels and patch cords can become contaminated with microscopic debris causing networks to bottle-neck and run slowly. With routine maintenance Casa Tech can ensure your network is performing as needed and prevent costly shut downs.  Our Fluke Networks OptiFiber OTDR has the ability to view and inspect connectors in the panels from the front without removing or disturbing them. We can also save the digital image for future reference and troubleshooting. Once we have cleaned and inspected your fiber we will test and certify it to TIA/EIA standards and provide soft copy certification records for future reference.
